Russian born Art Clandestine who is now based out of Maryland USA – has been experimenting with electronic music since 1999. Originally under the guise of Finger Funk, Art and his friend Ilya collaboratively developed their DJ persona, sharing a 4-by-4 progressive/tech house with breaks. Their small but strong following lead their mixes to be shared throughout communities, such as Hybridized and NuSkoolBreaks. Clandestine’s production career kicked off on a collaborative project with Phrakture, called ‘Parasomnia’, and released on Phrakture’s album ‘ Initiate Dream Sequence.’ Not long after, Clandestine won Aeron Aether’s ‘Twilight’ remix competition, landing his first official release on Morphosis Records in 2010 – and swiftly following with additional releases on Morphosis, VIM Records, and Rune Recordings. Clandestine is currently a resident with Rune Recordings, a member of the label’s management team, and also the co-founder and host of ‘The Rule of Rune’ show, aired bi-weekly on the award-winning NSB Radio.
